The Gnolams are the galaxy traders & hustlers. They can send spies to steal technologies at times, and are good to spy on for technologies since they will often have stolen many other races'. They have no special spying bonus either, making it easier to steal from them. If not allowed to expand too far, they are not a problem to eliminate. If allowed to grow a large empire, they can be a formidable foe, building huge fleets that take a lot of time to fend off.
